C. Otto Linn Negatives, 1899, 1913.

Collection includes 292 film negatives mostly measuring 5.5 x 3.5 inches. The negatives document men, women, children, including Linn and family members, and pets engaged in general and holiday activities, images of people and buildings and events in Kalamazoo, Lansing, Homer, Marshall, Albion, Round Lake, Gull Lake, Lyon Lake, and Kalamazoo River, Michigan, the Homer flood of 1907, and the Battle Creek flood of 1909. Of particular note are images of costumed elephants and camels of Ringling Brothers Circus in Lansing, 1913, and a parade of Buffalo Bill's "circus", really a wild west, 1913. Also of interest are images of men dressed as gross women or clowns with a sign documenting it as Marshall Day at Homer, August 19, 1908. The collection is in good physical condition.
